McCain let endless opportunities for a knockout punch fly by last night at the debate without even looking like he knew the opportunity existed.

Yep. This is McCain's biggest problem. He's got a reputation for being a short tempered hot-head. It's time to let that part of him out for a short stroll. Bottom line is that you don't win elections by playing patty-cake (or bipartisanship as he likes to call it) with the other side. You win by crushing the other side.

Bi-partisan. God, I hate that word! McCain’s accomplishments have been “reaching across the isle” to right legislation in a “bi-partisan” way and fighting his own base.

It’s sad to say but I think W is a better communicator.

Yes, you are right. McCain seems intent on being the most ineffectual candidate for President in history. Maybe he doesn’t yet understand that the media that loved him when he said anything against President Bush now hates him because he stands in Obama’s way. If McCain is the patriot that many say he is, why is it that he is not standing forcefully for his country, against Stalinists and the America-hating left, against left wing democrats who have already done plenty to wreck this country? Surely, he must know what will happen to our country if Obama wins this election!
