I live in Williamsport, PA, Strong GOP country, but there are quite a bit of union Democrats.

I’ve noticed a trend this year.. The usually reliable Democrat households have their standard signs out for the local races and their Dem US Congressman candidate, but I don’t see Obama signs with them! These same households had no problem putting Kerry signs out in 2004.

EXACTLY. I am seeing this in Florida. People who I know from passing their homes are Dems who had Hillary primary signs or Kerry or Gore do not have Obama signs. They have their Dem CongressCritter or local State Rep Dem sign.

I think you will see a LOT of white Dems not vote for Obama because they will lose the party to Obama and extremists. If they belong to a union - their new union hed may be an Obama guy and they will be on the street.

I think Hillary voters in PA and other states are being asked to vote for the party but “IT AIN’T” their party anymore if Obama is in charge. The only way they get the party back is if McCain wins and the Clintons take it back.

I have seen the very exact thing here in my very liberal neighborhood. Only 3 of the 10 have Obama signs (3 too many).
