The questions last night were designed to disallow this type of commentary from McCain. McCain didn’t really have a good “in” to use this info. He managed a couple, but there really wasn’t an opportunity. The MSM is in the tank for Osama, remember.

Ifill didn't want to give Palin an opportunity, either. Palin simply ignored what the moderator wanted and spoke her mind anyway.

I thought the same thing. In spite of the venue, I still think that brokaw “managed” the tone of the debate by selecting the questions. I don’t think that a moderator should be the one to pick the questions. He chose boring questions to elicit boring answers. That favored the O because he can talk for thirty minutes and say nothing and people still think he’s brilliant.
