I know that these stories are just anecdotal...but, I can't fathom the average steel worker (there are some still working here); Teamster, iron worker, coal miner, etc., pulling the lever for 0bama. I am amazed at the constant polling that shows 0bama 'up' here in PA. I have a diverse group of family; friends; co-workers; and I can tell you that the folks that turned out in droves for Hillary (remember she took PA in the primary by 10 points) aren't liking Barry (put they conversation always seems to turn to how great Palin is). Hmmmm, wonder which way they are leaning?

But then again, I must run with a bitter, clingy crowd here in PA.

i live in NoVA now, but i am from southwestern PA and i know these people and i agree that i can’t see them voting for Obama. SITTING HOME, yeah. My union-belonging, lifelong dem, dearly departed dad was one of them. No union could make him vote for Obama, he would stay home, bc he would NEVER vote for a republican. These people, who are my roots, give me hope for the outcome of this election.
