McCain missed an easy pitch tonight when Brokaw asked about use of force. Obambi said that we should intervene where genocide or ethnic cleansing is happening, such as sudan, congo and rawanda, even if there is no US interest.
There was genocide, ethnic cleansing and mass murder being committed in Iraq by saddam against Kurds and Shiites. By his own reasoning we should have intervened in Iraq solely for humanitarian reasons.
