No way. How can those making $3/hr picking lettuce (according to Juan McCain) be buying houses?
Bingo!!
It is not unusual to have 4 or 5 families go together into buying a home. They may have done it several times with different families. The numbers seem pretty good to me.
Is this how it *really* works? How can regulators or the IRS just look the other way when “hush” money is passed? Where is the accountability? Aren’t there many hoops to jump through to prevent this?
That $50/hr lettuce picking job in Yuma will be in high demand soon. I wonder if Cindy knows that John is on the line for bankrolling that payroll?
And HUD and Fannie and Freddie knew about every single one of them.
Up here north of DFW, I know of one neighborhood where a load of illegals live. I have a friend who lives several doors away, and she says she’s complained many times to her HOA and to the city and nothing is ever done about it. One police officer told her that the inside of the house was a little messy with blankets everywhere, but there was nothing he could do. It isn’t “illegal” to own a house with no furniture.
Aren’t the illegals illegal?
And, purposely left the border open and purposely did nothing about visa overstays, etc.
We used to live in Yuma.
I can remember when it was Halloween in 1994, BUS loads of kids and their 17 year old mommies were driven into our neighborhood to trick or treat. The first year it happened, I hadn’t a clue what was going on - that is until I had to turn off my lights and back out of my driveway to head to the store to buy more candy after running out in a half hour. It looked like a concert had let out, I could barely make it out of my street. It was like the Twilight Zone.
I realized what had happened when I saw a few streets away, busses lined up with engines running.
I’m shocked, shocked to find learn that illegal aliens owned home in America! Shocked, I tell you!
I'd love to see confirmation of this. I doubt HUD would even release such a number
Not according to:
Jorge Bush
Juan McCain
Lindsay Graham
Barack Obama
Hillary Clinton
LULAC
LaRaza
Juan Hernandez
The Justice Department
The National Association of Homebuilders
The United Farm Workers of America
The National Chamber of Commerce
North American Meatpackers Association
and ad nauseum...
but yes, other than those mentioned it is illegal to be here in the U.S. without valid border documents or to be here without a valid work visa.
Highly doubtful. I'd love to see confirmation on this one
“The problem began years ago when banks were forced to give mortgages without confirming social security numbers or borrower identification.”
Brought to you by a totally useless government. All they know how to do is FUBAR and then rape the taxpayer.
There are less than 50 million mortgages in he US. So 1 in ten is held by an illegal?
I don't know the precise number, but the current numbers, according to the Center for Immigration Studied, is about 11.3M.

This group is not much of an apologist for immigration, legal or illegal, as it promotes a temporary total shutdown on immigration while we get our house in order.
Those tossing around 30M to 40M numbers really ought to present something like proof. Nobody can come up with accurate numbers based on their own personal experience or on anecdotal evidence.
Y'all are aware the total population of Mexico is only a little over 100M, I hope. While a great many of them are up here, it isn't 20% or more. For this to be the case, it would have to be well over 50% among the group, young men, that predominates in illegals.
There are actual statistics on these numbers. One of the most important is the number of wire transfers of money back to Mexico and Central America. Those numbers don't support a 20M to 40M total.
“Our govt. purposely left the lid off the cookie jar.”
Our government didn’t just leave the lid off the cookie jar. The Democrats went in with their buddies and stole everything in sight. The Republicans were afraid to say anything or if they did speak up they were attacked or ignored.
Yes.
