SAN DIEGO -- A Border Patrol agent was injured Tuesday after he was struck by a car driven by a suspected smuggler, 10News reported.

The incident occurred before 5 p.m. at a vehicle checkpoint on westbound Interstate 8 at Buckman Springs Road.

That is the headline, the checkpoint is on I-8 the only thing about any other highway in the article is that traffic was diverted to Old Highway 80.

It’s interesting how those that think Ramos and Compean are guilty never comment on these types of threads. They never comment on threads detailing the smuggling convictions of truly corrupt Border Patrol Agents either. Has anyone else noticed how they give a pass to undeniably corrupt Border Patrol Agents yet viciously attack agents in cases where agents appear to be persecuted by the government?
