Fine. Fine. Whatever.

What will be critical is how many of them in the crowd will graduate from that status of groupies out for a quick thrill to see the popular rock star, and actually TAKE OFF FIRST TUESDAY NOVEMBER and work all day as precinct warriors and phone bank infantry to defeat the MASSIVE Obama machine.

The rest is meaningless.

EVERYONE THERE AND AT EACH OF THESE HUGE RALLIES SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO LEAVE THE STADIUM UNTIL THEY EACH VOLUNTEER ON ELECTION DAY FOR SOMETHING. They should have everyone's name and an assigned role for them in four weeks.

Regardless of how this election turns out we have got to change the way we handle the press. I like the fact that she is giving interviews to local stations. I think more Republicans should be willing to do this. Even when there isn’t an election coming up. Every shady legislation that comes up and Republicans disagree with they need to get in touch with the people in their home district and explain why they are against it. The American people want to be heard and feel like they have accessibility to their representatives. That’s why Governor Palin is so electrifying. She connects to the people. If Bush had been more willing to use the “Bully Pulpit” I don’t think we would be struggling in this election like we have had to.

This is further proof that us North Carolinians are in a fight here. We would not be seeing visits this close to the election if McCain didn’t feel that defense was necessary. This is a fight so get all your friends and family (so long as they are conservative) to the polls. The ground game will be what wins NC.
