People were getting up to shake McCain’s hand and take his picture (except for the African-Americans). People didn’t even get up for Obama.

Interesting observation. I wonder if at a gut level, people relate to McCain like say an uncle; they're comfortable with him. Obama comes across as a snob. Who would you rather sit down with at a barbecue?

That’s what I think. People like McCain. He came across as real, caring, feeling . . . something the media doesn’t understand. They are playing their sensationalist game, criticizing him for not hitting it out of the park. But maybe he did, in a very quiet way. Pray for him.
