I second the boring part.
Again though, NoBama came off as polished and he held his own.
Not the best performance by McCain.
I found myself changing channels.
I think it was a draw with a slight tilt to NoBama... Please don't flame me I just call it like I see it but I will affix my asbestos fire suit just in case....
Good closing remarks by McCain!
As a side note, Sarah better take off her heels and put on her boots because she now has to carry McCain to the finish line....
It bothered me that Obama was not inclusive of our relationship to Israel in that he just called them “allies” and NOT “friends”. No where have I ever heard Obama speak of Israel as a “friend” of the US and I thought this is very telling in light of his Islamic background.
CBS is ranting about McCain saying “that one”. Talking to phony undecided voters whining about the comment. This is just a pathetic setup by CBS.
Hey......his whole life is Mumbo Jumbo!
MSM is harping on “that one” comment
the CBS panel is such bullsh*t
McCain was the clear winner.
Americans need to be confident in their next POTUS.
Obama looked like a n00b.
michelee the fat a@@ witch
He's a wuss so he doesn't work out enough.
That can keep coming.
Just like at the convention. I know why this guy keeps getting reelected.
Then Kondracke started dropping the turd into the punchbowl so I cut the volume. Then 1/2 the screen shows the un-proud one so I changed to the weather channel ;-)
Curiously, Brokaw made that evident when the 2 candidates were blocking his view of his teleprompter. He actually said it out loud.
Heck, I could moderate a debate such as that if I had a teleprompter.
‘I bet the THAT ONE comment is going to become a sound bite’
That was a gaffe. McCain meant to say ‘The One’. :-)
do you have a crystal ball or something? If you were expecting McCain to come charging in on a white horse, you don’t know him very well.
He is not a loser. McCain is who he is. I did not expect fireworks. I had reasonable expectations and mine were met.
To be fair I didn’t see a resal opportunity to hit him withthat stuff. Tom Brokaw managed the questions and kept it on safe ground for 0. I hated thsi format!!
Another gloom and doomer.
McCain is not playing to you or I. He is playing to the middle class undecideds. He was clear, if sometimes uninspired. He was concise, and discussed what he would do.
Obama, on the other hand, discussed problems, visions and issues, but rarely discussed what he would do in any level of specificity.
Which debate were you watching?
EASTON is crazy. McC is talking about buying up excess housing capacity. SHe’s reaching for her moment. Cheap hairdoo!
“EXCELLENT ENDING BY MCCAIN! (Obama blew the ending BIG TIME)”
I agree that Zero blew it but McCain could have had the last word and nailed him. McCain could have said I dont know why Obama is fighting releasing his birth certificate. I don’t know why Obama used tax payer dollars to campaign for his communist cousin in Kenya who later committed genocide to overturn the election and convert the country to Muslim Sharia Law. That would have sealed Zero’s fate and McCain blew the chance.
So far FOX panel not liking McCain. Sheena Easton said McCain’s mortgage plan is the end of free market republicans.
As the new extraction technologies are perfected and improved, we are going to see more oil and other types of energy become cheaper. Over the long term the US will be in good shape.
