While the two presidential candidates, Senators John McCain and Barack Obama, prepare for their second debate on Oct. 7 at Belmont University in Nashville, Tom Brokaw gets to sift through questions submitted by you. In addition to queries from a group randomly selected by the Gallup organization, Brokaw will be fielding questions submitted online at mydebates.org, the site created by the Commission on Presidential Debates and Myspace. The focus of the town hall-style debate will be domestic and foreign policy, Brokaw's specialties.
I only watched for the first 22 minutes, and he repeated the buying up mortgages line about four times.....
Great idea. I’ll have to instant message the ahole, George Noory.
TOWNHALL DEBATES ARE VERY RARELY EVER FIERY! They are always calm and touchy feely. I hate this format.
McCain looks and sounds terrible. Obama is speaking to the people.
You are so right, I’m voting for Sarah, hell with McCain, I hope we can last 4 years under the messiah till Sarah can run for President.
Tell us we all need to wear a sweater Jimmy!
McCain just kicked Obambi’s butt by saying we can do healthcare and energy at the same time! We are Americans! Go McCain!
LOL ping
3.43 here in Indiana.
I am not watching. McCain is almost as annoying as bambi. Just checked in to see what the word is, going to go find a movie now.
I will be voting for Sarah on 11/04.
Obama’s idea of sacrificing for our country... conserve energy... electric cars... duct tape windows...
McCain needs to better than this. He’s doing al right, but he’s making it too easy for the MSM to spin an Obama win.
He’s doing better than he did in the first debate...
I hope you are right, but remember much has to do with "perception." I strongly support McCain, but he seems to need to get his Mo-Jo back sooner.
Obama doesn't answer the questions directly, and he lies. But he is calm and smooth - and that is what his supporters seem to like most, not really caring what he says anyway.
McCain does appear weary. Maybe that's to throw Obama off, I don't understand his tactics. But he will lose his audience out of boredom and no one will see the strong finish, if he has one. If Obama wins this town hall debate, the race is doomed for McCain, I fear.
McCain, Please CALL HIM ON THE “GO OUT AND SHOP” dig.
I went on with my life because I was not going to let the terrorists rule my life with fear.
That IS National Service...
Troll?? I think not. I have been a member of this forum for 10 years.
Where are we going to get money to buy these new cars. I’ve already got a good car. Drill here! Drill now!
Total idiot ... doubling the Peace Corps? WTF??
Obambi: We’ll have to sacrifice by using less energy.
He says he believes in drilling (bs)
