Check out Paulson’s “other” contributions more closely. Goldman money is usually to Dems, 9 to 1. The Conservation donations are not necessarily Conservative donations. I would say his money is split 50/50.

Not all of his non-alligned contributions were to conservatives. He gave money to the League of Conservation Voters, which mainly helps Democrats. But most of the non-aligned money went to Republicans. He maxed out to Bill Frist's PAC, Tom Reynold's PAC, Richard Shelby's PAC. He also gave $86,000 to the National Republican Senate Committee, $67,500 to the National Republican Congressional Committee, and $50,000 to the RNC.

Add that to the contributions benefiting Republican candidates and 90%+ of his contributions are benefiting Republicans and/or conservatives.
