That said, we need to AT LEAST DOUBLE the size of the military. What the world has taught us is that the peace dividend was one of the greatest lies ever told to this nation.
The oceans and skies didn't get any smaller, and we're trying to cover the same ones with half the ships and planes that George H. W. Bush had back during Desert Shield/Storm, and cover Division-sized sectors of land with Brigades.
