Isn’t there some syndrome wherein a child idolizes the parent who abandoned him and rejects the one he ends up with - thinking it’s the fault of the parent that the absent parent has gone?

He was pretty much abandoned by his mother at times too. No wonder he's a mental mess.

I’m not sure of an official name for it but I call it the “Rosanne Barr Syndrome.” “My parents made me this way!” What a load! It is called “SIN”
