(CBS) In a sign that the race for president has returned to about where it was before the first presidential debate, the Obama-Biden ticket leads the McCain-Palin ticket 47 percent to 43 percent among registered voters in a new CBS News poll.

If McCain and others will continue their attacks I predict the race will be even by this weekend.
We then have to keep hitting even harder with more pointed attacks. Little o must be destroyed.
We need to be five points ahead on election day to offset the fraud.

I think we all know that a CBS poll is not a measure of opinion it is an attempt to manipulate opinion. So why this sudden change? Can it be that they realize Obammy will lose and they are now going to try to salvage some credibility? Maybe I just need some coffee, I do feel kinda groggy.
Well Doc, the problem is I want to see this on the battleground states with the high Red state electoral votes that have the Messiah ahead now by 4-8 pts. When I see those numbers tightening, I will be a bit more cheerful. The numbers one sees via RAS, RCP, Zogby do not mirror any McCain-Palin moves. At least not yet. 28 days left.

I'm guessing that this poll is just as biased in favor of registered Democrats as the other polls.
Hopefully McCain can build on this tomorrow night.

Not taking much stock in this poll ,personally. I am looking at Republicans and Conservative Democrats getting in the “ trenches” and working until November 4th and then November 5th will be a accurate “ poll”!!!
Missed the statement from Gallop. The tracking poll was O+8 today. Did they say something after they released the numbers?

A news organization that would manufacture a fake memo harmful to President Bush on the eve of the 2004 election would have no problem manufacturing a fake poll. I assume everything out of CBS news is a lie. I defy them to prove me wrong.
