Unlikely. Most people don’t have a good grasp of African politics.

Most people don’t even have a clue who Mugabe is.

Using the Odinga video would be viewed as grasping at straws.

We have enough on him to destroy him, but we’re not actively exploiting it. Palin has started, and so has McCain. But... honestly... unless they go hard with it, it won’t matter.

Actually, unless the short version is fixed to show that:
* Odinga signed a deal with Islamic minority to institute Shirea law in Kenya
* Odinga pledged to end cooperation with U.S War on Terrorism
is not nearly as powerful as it should be.

Personally I think this is far more powerful (with the above fixes) than the Ayres argument ever will be. For one thing, there is no doubt that Obama here actively knows and worked with Odinga. It is also much more recent.

Sorry, I can’t agree. Most Americans don’t care about African politics. The Ayers connection resonates. It’s funny that B Hussein Obama won’t consent to what’s essentially a background check by releasing his college transcripts when it’s standard practice for Americans in the real workforce.
