Thanks for the pep talk...all too many FReepers fall victim to the doom and gloom...in fact, I think some are rapid cycling manic-depressives(old term, but, it’s quite descriptive).

I hope you are right. But, when thee is a war things change. The fact that John Kerry came a hand full of votes from winning last time should of been a warning. My country that is the country that I have always known would never elect a Barak Obama. But, whether or not he does or does not win the fact that he is this close indicates we need to change. We need to find new ways to promote old ideas and the courage to do so. We also need to find new ideas and to change the cultural mix from small town and southern (while keeping same)to a more mainstream message. We need to reinvent ourselves with a new message and image and one that we can truly support.

I'm right there with you. I was getting pretty discouraged about McCain's lack of slamming Obama on countless issues.
I don't know if I agree with his strategy of holding his firepower so long, but so long as he unloads on Hussein O. enough to win the election, I'll be happy.

Very uplifting, jveritas. Thank you!

McCain was at peak performance today in NM. If he can carry this over to tomorrow night, it could turn the entire campaign around.
I just heard Dick Morris on H&C say that while the Obama-Ayers connection is important, what should really be talked about by McCain is that Ayers personally selected Obama to distribute Annnenberg money (we’re talking 60 Million /year) for education purposes and what Obama did was to dole it out to radical groups who’s goal was to “educate” students about radical causes, not math, science and geography.

I’ve been away for awhile (basically in a state of depression over the McCain campaign), but thanks for the pep-talk. I’m re-invigorated and ready to fight.

J, you truly are one of the Alpha-FReepers. And because of that, I can disagree with you resonably.
I do not and cannot share anyone’s optimism. I long ago lost any trust or confidence in the Sheep. Never forget, the Sheep voted in the Congress they want. They want Socialism, and they’ll get it.

We’ll win if we manage to educate the sheeple not only of the communist and terrorist background of the Zero messiah, but also, and that’ll be much harder, that the President, i.e. in this case Bushitler, does not run the economy, and certainly hasn’t run it down with the Fannie and Freddie fiasco. Why, some on this forum believe that.
