As someone who has written critically of John McCain on a host of issues, including the Keating Five, none of it compares to the life that Barack Obama has led and his belief system. Obama is not merely associated with domestic terrorists, Palestinian radicals, Marxists, and black liberation ideologues he was their favorite candidate. They groomed him. They befriended him. He befriended them. He socialized with them. In other words, these people saw Obama as representing their views and aspirations and he saw them the same way. I am not among those who raise Obama's associations but add "of course, it doesn't mean Obama shares their views." Oh really? These miscreants include Obama's former pastor, political mentors and allies, and friends. Obama attempts to downplay and distance himself from his own circle of allies now that he is running for president. But he is one of them. Obama is getting a pass that no other candidate in my memory has ever received.
If John McCain had belonged to a church for 20 years and that church advocated white supremacy and the pastor of the church spewed racist propaganda wrapped in Biblical verses much of which was caught on video-tape what would we say? If McCain's good friends included people involved in blowing up abortion clinics instead of the Capitol Building, the Pentagon, and police stations, what would we say? If McCain was socially close to a professor with ties to neo-Nazi groups in Berlin, as opposed to a professor who had ties to the PLO, what would we say? If McCain spent his formative years schooled in fascism as opposed to Marxism, what would we say?
Every time Obama's life experiences and character are raised, the response is a diversionary tactic. Today, we're supposed to be impressed with the moral equivalency argument (Ayers = Keating Five), or Obama's associations and friendships aren't what they appear to be, or Obama really isn't like all those people he drew around him, or those raising these issues are guilty of McCarthyism. There are 30 days left in this election. It's high time the Obama fan-dance ended.
Rush’s substitute host today phrased it well.
He said it wasn’t just that he associated with these people, and certainly just sitting in Wright’s church doesn’t make you “as bad” as Wright, and hanging out in Ayer’s living room doesn’t make you a terrorist.
The problem is that he clearly wasn’t sufficiently “repulsed” by them.
Most people - normal people - would have looked at this bunch and ran away from them as fast as possible.
Obama did not. He wanted their help - their support - their money.
I think he was looking for some “street cred” - and my goodness - he got it!
Hope Mark brings this up on his show tonight.
Yup, he will.

Eff 'em.
As Euripides observed, “Every man is like the company he is wont to keep.”
If a white politician had even one neo-Nazi associate, you can bet it would be a campaign issue. And the “of course, that doesn’t mean he shares his [the associate’s] views” would be rightly laughed out of the court of public opinion. Obama has had a bevy of the leftist and black analogues clustered around him.
The RATS voted the Repubicans attempts down & now are laying the entire blame for the problem on the Republicans.
It's insane not to stress the problem & point out to the voters that voting in the same people who caused the problem is like hiring the fox to guard the chicken coop.
Just now on Fox - Obama's spokesman said John McCain & his involvement with the Keating 5 is the cause of this financial crisis.
Republicans MUST stop playing defense & go on the offense.
Will we see this on NBC and CBS? In your dreams!!

That was good old Bill Burton. Trace Gallagher did a good job of B**** slapping him! Trace pointed out out 4 out of the 5 were dems, and Mac was cleared, in fact the dem. lawyer even went as far as saying including Mac & Glenn was a mistake.
Burton came back with "but but but he was one of the "Keating 5"! Obama is spitting in the wind once again.
bump for later
“If Obama is elected, many will drop the Flag.”
Not to mention the celebration from everyone that drops the soap.
Obama will be the first president to hate the US more than our enemies do. Imagine what his policies are going to be like. I’ve called him Carteresque, but he is more like Carter pumped up and mentally fried on radical steroids. An Obama presidency is likely to be one wild ride we’ll never get over.
As Tony Blankley pointed out, it’s gone beyond bias to propogandizing.
Most conservatives are lackluster in considering the MSM as the enemy; in reality they are.
There has to be a push by good people to topple the enemy. That means becoming relentlessly forceful in blasting huge holes in their false front of authority, omniscience, and superiority.
Just as conservatives now must really push to see this fraud of a Dem candidate toppled hard from his pedestal, so conservatives must now and especially after the election PUSH for the MSM (the outright enemy of America) to be toppled from their position of authority. They are Big Brother. We need to go after them, not nibbling at the fringes, but in force now.
IMO they are the PRIMARY force keeping the US from moving forward in power. It's really time to blast them out of the water.
Anna has the streaming radio show, but that's not me, thanks.
I saw this.
