Rush’s substitute host today phrased it well.
He said it wasn’t just that he associated with these people, and certainly just sitting in Wright’s church doesn’t make you “as bad” as Wright, and hanging out in Ayer’s living room doesn’t make you a terrorist.
The problem is that he clearly wasn’t sufficiently “repulsed” by them.
Most people - normal people - would have looked at this bunch and ran away from them as fast as possible.
Obama did not. He wanted their help - their support - their money.
I think he was looking for some “street cred” - and my goodness - he got it!

Hope Mark brings this up on his show tonight.

I am not among those who raise Obama's associations but add "of course, it doesn't mean Obama shares their views." Oh really? Indeed! Barack Obama not only tolerates abortion, he worked hard to keep infanticide legal in Illinois as a means to kill 'unwanted children'. That DOES mean he shares the values of abortionists.

Liberal Democrats never have to answer to anyone, for anything. The news media now thoroughly insulate them from responsibility. Regardless of what a Democrat is accused of, no amount of evidence is ever sufficient, whereas a mere accusation against a Republicans is held as prima facie proof of guilt. We're in a very bad place as a nation right now, when truth is subservient to political expedience and the news media lie (literally and figuratively) largely on one side of a great divide.

When Hillary was running the MSM found sexist everywhere. Now that Sarah's the woman on the ticket the MSM isn't even offended by Larry Flynt doing a porn movie with a woman who's suppose to look like Palin.
Eff 'em.

As Euripides observed, “Every man is like the company he is wont to keep.”
If a white politician had even one neo-Nazi associate, you can bet it would be a campaign issue. And the “of course, that doesn’t mean he shares his [the associate’s] views” would be rightly laughed out of the court of public opinion. Obama has had a bevy of the leftist and black analogues clustered around him.

Besides the radical friends of Obama - it seems to me it's more important for the Repbublicans to be laying out in point by point detail how the RATS are responsible for the financial crisis which both McCain & Bush tried to stop. This is just as important as Obama's sleazy friends - & in fact, affects the entire world.
The RATS voted the Repubicans attempts down & now are laying the entire blame for the problem on the Republicans.
It's insane not to stress the problem & point out to the voters that voting in the same people who caused the problem is like hiring the fox to guard the chicken coop.
Just now on Fox - Obama's spokesman said John McCain & his involvement with the Keating 5 is the cause of this financial crisis.
Republicans MUST stop playing defense & go on the offense.

Just now on Fox - Obama's spokesman said John McCain & his involvement with the Keating 5 is the cause of this financial crisis. That was good old Bill Burton. Trace Gallagher did a good job of B**** slapping him! Trace pointed out out 4 out of the 5 were dems, and Mac was cleared, in fact the dem. lawyer even went as far as saying including Mac & Glenn was a mistake.
Burton came back with "but but but he was one of the "Keating 5"! Obama is spitting in the wind once again.

Not to mention the celebration from everyone that drops the soap.

Obama will be the first president to hate the US more than our enemies do. Imagine what his policies are going to be like. I’ve called him Carteresque, but he is more like Carter pumped up and mentally fried on radical steroids. An Obama presidency is likely to be one wild ride we’ll never get over.

I'm not talking about Gov't intervention. The media hold its place of eminence mostly thru popular support.
Most conservatives are lackluster in considering the MSM as the enemy; in reality they are.
There has to be a push by good people to topple the enemy. That means becoming relentlessly forceful in blasting huge holes in their false front of authority, omniscience, and superiority.
Just as conservatives now must really push to see this fraud of a Dem candidate toppled hard from his pedestal, so conservatives must now and especially after the election PUSH for the MSM (the outright enemy of America) to be toppled from their position of authority. They are Big Brother. We need to go after them, not nibbling at the fringes, but in force now.
IMO they are the PRIMARY force keeping the US from moving forward in power. It's really time to blast them out of the water.

From the
National Review
Open
this link to see a brilliant diagram of all of ACORN's work, and the Senators and presidential candidates who make it happen. Dodd, Frank, Schumer, and of course Barack Obama are stuck in the swamp of self-dealing, corruption, and politicial machinations, all masquerading as social justice and cheap real estate for the poor, at quite large taxpayer expense. This is a savvy Democrat web site. Follow the link for a really astonishing set of Democratic web sites which compete with each other in their exposition of Obama's perfidies, corruptions, and non-messianic attributes. Remember former libs are much better at political knife fighting than those whose first instincts are, and remain, conservative.
