Australian dollar off almost 8.6% on the day against the USD. It's the collapse of the commodities bubble. Australia's economy is dominated by commodities as well as Russia's. I imagine Canada isn't doing too well either.

Yeah, and on top of that Australia has some bank problems of its own with Macquarie et al.
