No, I would not be saying that if it were on the other foot because i know enough about past elections that polls are truly just snapshots in time, and anything can happen. I suggest you do a thorough check on the polls of past elections--thorough, not just picking and choosing.

No need to respond--if you do the check, you'll have your answer as to how accurate a snapshot polls are one month before an election.
