I may get in trouble with some Freepers, but secretly I believe most conservatives are pulling for McCain with the perverse thought (which was raised in the VP debate) that the old Navy pilot passes away and we have a person who will not back off logic and will fight for “us” not the jackass Liberals.

I understand what you mean, and I am one of those who wasn't going to vote for McCain before Palin came along, however, I don't wish harm on him. This will make her poised in 4 years, though. I am excited about that.

Has McCain given any indication at all that he intends to serve only one term? If not, then Palin will be running for VP again in four years. She'll run for POTUS in 8.
