In essence, the mainstream media reviews of Sarah Palin’s competent performance in the vice presidential debate actually didn’t much differ from those of the conservative media, although the implications of her mastery of the debate format were hotly disputed.
All agree she did good. But will it make a difference?...

Sarah Palin hit a Grand Slam in the debate, especially if you adjust for the outright lies spoken by Biden. Unfortunately there is no punishment for shameless lies by politicians, just admiration for how well they carry out their misstatements.
Was there ever a time when a politician would resign in disgrace and shame for deliberately misleading his or her constituents? Biden should resign or take a time out for a few years to reflect on his dishonesty. With the internet, it is easy and fast to fact check, but no way to do it in a timely manner during a debate.
But in this case it does not seem to matter. Amazing!
One can tell how well Sarah Palin did in the debate by the absence of editorials, headlines, articles, etc. discussing the debate. If she had lost, or had even one of the 15 gaffes that Biden had during the debate, the newspapers and Katie Caustic, etc. would have been screaming about it. Instead, strangely quiet.
She stomped good ol’ Joe, and no amount of eye “lifts” can make it look better for him.
Joe would have lost it on his eyes, alone. Creeped me out, everytime he looked into the camera.
Even a liberal friend of mine said Palin won that debate. He’s a former Hillary voter and said he’s voting for Obama but he also said if Palin were running against Obama he would vote for Palin.
