Are you kidding? Every time I see this "law professor's" name it is in connection with some liberal garbage, endorsing Obama since last Spring. He has honed the toxic mix of "social justice" and "I'm personally opposed but" argument to a fine edge as could only be done by someone who has had "right and wrong" drilled out of his pea brain in law school.
Laura Ingraham had him on her show. His arguments were nonsense and she easily refuted them. Claims that abortions rose under Bush - false. Claims about liberal/socialist healthcare policies reducines abortion - nonsense. Completely ignored the fact that Obama was a pro-abortion extremist and would fund taxpayer-funded abortions and repeal the Hyde Amendment *and* would gut some state-level abortion restrictions via Freedom of Choice Act. And that leaves the fact that Obama would appoint justice that lock Roe v Wade for another generation, and Kmiec tried to pretend that was a nonissue. That *IS* the issue! Within minutes, he was babbling incoherently. You have to have the IQ of a turnip to fall for this.
This is all about wishy-washy liberal Catholics finding a rationalization to vote pro-abort. Lies people tell themselves are the worst lies of all. Doug Kmiec is a party to a bamboozling.
