Why on earth do we need a Civilian National Security Force that is as well funded as the United States military?

There are expediencies a civilian force can accomplish for leadership that the rigid military isn’t capable of. Every leader should have at his disposal an army beholden just to him. There are just too many constitutional barriers present which makes the military much harder to activate against the civilian population. We need a force Obama can activate whenever it is deemed necessary for national security reasons ofcourse. One area that comes to mind is the collection of private weapons when that become necessary for national security. There are many others. /s

And our West Point-trained officers would hopefully refuse to follow illegal and unconstitutional orders. Remember, their duty to uphold the Constitution overrides their duty to obey the President, and perhaps this is something they need to think about if Obama should actually win.
