The attack smacks of desperation because Americans are never going to digest the intricate facts behind it. Barry and Bill sat on the same Board of Directors for a period (so did a lot of other people) and they live in the same neighborhood. This does not on first blush smack of them being “pals” and 90% of Americans simply are not going to get it. I agree that there is a real and despicable connection between the two but unless we put on a big ad campaign that goes to length to explain this (a la the Swift Boat campaign), this is a lost cause.

"...this is a lost cause.

I wouldn't go that far. There is a legitimate track to take here.

Although the economy is by far the most important issue,,,,,

Hussein keeps bringing up his 'good judgment' (he does it ad nauseum about not getting involved in the Iraq War),,,

well, this is an opportunity to HIGHLIGHT his 'precious good judgment'!!!!

Even most liberals would agree that JUDGMENT is arguably the most important trait for a President. The very aspect that Hussein is flaunting--his good judgment--IS a legit issue highlighted by himself.

Micheal Moore is that you?

Americans are not stupid...repeat after me...Americans are not stupid. I know people in NYC and LA think that flyover doesn't read or comprehend anything but I assure you...they really do.

Tell the people who have been working and not paying attention the truth! Get the information out there.

Oh yeah, why push it? I mean, my neighbor's a former terrorist and my husband sits on a board with a communist sympathizer. Just everyday, ordinary Americans are too simple to understand the nuance of these things. May as well give up.

I think that the American people can understand a sentence like “Obama took money from a known terrorist.”

Obama could’ve said “no thank you, terrorist, I won’t take your money.” He could’ve said “no thank you, terrorist, I won’t let you host a fundraiser at your house for me”

But Obama didn’t. Obama said “thank you for the money, terrorist” Obama said “thank you for hosting a fundraiser at your house”

The connections are actually pretty deep, but an argument about what constitutes a “friend” might be trickier than
a simple “Obama takes money from terrorists.”

Ayers is the “American Osama Bin Laden” and the Weathermen / Weather Underground is the “American Al-Qaeda”

Didn’t Ayers get Obama that job in Chicago? Well, we know it’s true, but it might be hard to prove.

Plus Ayres held a fundraiser at his house to get Obama launched into politics. Yet we’re assured that Obama hardly knows him. Please. My skin is crawling.
