This is going to be big. He was palling around with terrorists, malcontents, and radicals. The only faith he has is in the government.

The leftist MSM is in full fellate mode for Obama.

Expect to hear nothing of this on NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, PBS, MSNBC, etc.

Maybe, just maybe, the counterattack has begun.

Oh here comes the counterattack - Obama spokesman on FOX just brought up Keating and McCain. He also said Ayers is a distinguished scholar (barf) working closely with the governor of North Carolina so is the governor guilty of bad associations? Oh, but Obama doesn’t really want to talk about this......

So this is how they’re going to deal with this.

Reading that quote, above, the least damning thing she says is about his terrorist connections. It's the most incendiary thing she said, but that's an attack that can be responded to.

What can't be responded to is her definiation of Obama as someone who sees the real estate of America, but not the soul of it. Obama sees an evil, ignorant America that, under his benign tutelage, may one day be less shabby than it is today.

That's the point Sarah is making. Obama doesn't just want change, he wants Change.

She needs to do a rally with a huge video screen and play, one-by-one, all of the things obama has said that paints him as an America hating radical.

Kill him with his own words....show them at every rally from here on out.

It’s about time that someone in the GOP who has any kind of audience at all starts fighting. It is so outrageous that the GOP hasn’t fought back with all the ammo they have. The Dems are not going to play nice. GOP shouldn’t either.

Fox is discussing the Ayers association now. Ayers is being described as a terrorist who did fund raisers for Obama.

Jimal Simmons is on the air defending Obama’s association with Ayers. Simmons is saying that McCain has lots of instances of associates (the Keating Five example is given) that can be thrown out against him. Then Simmons says that the guilt by association is a diverting discussion about real problems like how do we give children health care.

So socialist solutions will divert people from discussion matters of personal judgment? Obama’s judgment needs to be front and center. We know about his judgment. However, the bulk of Americans do not pay that much attention and the McCain campaign needs to make a shortcut case about Obama’s judgment. The association effort is that type of shortcut.

This is exactly what a vice-presidential nominee should do - stay on the attack against the other side's presidential nominee. McCain has a huge advantage here - Palin's charisma and decency blunt charges of meanness and Biden's long record of praise for McCain makes attacks by Biden on McCain seem ridiculous.

Obama's association with Ayers has gone unquestioned for far too long by the MSM and by the McCain campaign - hopefully it's not too late now.

What scares me is Monica Lewinsky syndrome. Remember when that story broke and everyone thought Clinton was toast. Then the media did the “none of your business” spin and it all went away. There has to be some way to head off their evil propaganda off this time. I already see the media trying to spin this.

Obama spokesman Hari Sevugan fired back at Palin. “Gov. Palin’s comments, while offensive, are not surprising, given the McCain campaign’s statement this morning that they would be launching Swiftboat-like attacks in hopes of deflecting attention from the nation’s economic ills.

Happiness is...

When your opponent expects a swift-boat attack, but not a nine-gun broadside.

I think she's got Barack's range. Fire for effect, Sarah!

About time! Someone on another thread said that the Palin-McCain campaign should stick with just telling people about Jeremiah Wright, and leave Rezko and Ayers alone, since it’s easier to explain Wright than the others. For McCain, it may very well be. For Palin, who is an excellent communicator (and I mean that in a technical sense as well), the job can be done, the message broken down and made understandable for the average American.

Didn’t Obama open his presidential campaign in the home of Bill Ayers? If he did, he can’t say he doesn’t have a close association with Ayers.
