Don’t give up, and don’t try to talk others into giving up. (Why would you do that in the last month of the campaign, anyway?)
As for speaking against special interest groups, we have every reason to give Palin a chance to do it. And with executive power, McCain might come out of his shell.

I'm not trying to talk anyone into giving up. People can make up their own minds. I simply point out that this party (formerly known as the GOP) has no fortitude to stand up for their stated values or principles. The RINOs in Washington are more interested in keeping their jobs then defending their principles. And none of the talking heads in Washington give a damn about this country or its citizens unless it will effect their ability to make money in Washington.
I am sure that Ronald Reagan is rolling over in his grave and watching this debacle.AWB
