“But when my own side refuses to fight, how can my fighting make any difference? What good does it do to fight for a guy to be elected when he won’t even fight for himself?”

I suppose we’re not looking at it in the same way, because I don’t really care if anyone else fights or not. I’ll do everything I can, and if I go down, it’s not for lack of trying.

We’re spoiled, and we sit here at our keyboards and bellyache about the imperfections of our leaders. We have faced nothing like those who came before us, including John McCain. I’m sure what he went through has left scars that affect his personality. The closest most of us have gotten to the danger of the enemy of the US was on Sept. 11, 2001. That was a terrifying time for all Americans, and the truth is, there is a very real possibility of more to come if they perceive us to be weakened or accommodating. Have we not learned our lesson?

One thing, don’t go by what you think is happening in the McCain campaign. He’s fighting, maybe not as you’d like him to, maybe because of his personality. But McCain and Sarah are struggling hard against a strong current of media bias, weird polling data, and dare I say it, an extremely sinister man who is doing his best to win this election by whatever means possible - and that in and of itself is wearying. Can you not see that?

Just stand with them and don’t allow others to drag you down. Donate a few dollars if you’re able. Come on!!! Shake yourself and fight! If you truly love freedom, you’ll do it whatever it takes...

Thanks for your post.

If you are a female - maybe you are learning from Sarah. You won’t see us allowing any form of our vote to count for an Obama.

Such cowards among supposed conservatives. So glad we never had to expect them to fight for us.

They are lazy and oh, so willing to let this country fade away. They would have so much more to complain about that way.

You will never see those posting such nonsense fight for the conservatives. I really suspect they are undercover Obama supporters. Notice how they keep on posting.

If you do not want to vote for McCain, why would you even bother to post here - unless there was some agenda. And, I guarantee you - that agenda is not to have a conservative government.

Yes, a lot of us are spoiled relatively speaking. True, John McCain served our country honorably and sacrificed more than I can even imagine. He does however, live a very different life now and has for a very long time. He does not have to use the same hospitals we do that are so crowded with illegals that it is a detriment to our health when we are sick or injured. He didn’t have to send his kids to overcrowded, gang infested public schools. He doesn’t have to worry about not having a pension or retirement account, paying off his mortgage, or how he’ll help his kids through college.

He’s been part of the Ivory towers crowd for a long time and I assume that most of us here are not. I’ll continue to send money but it will continue to be to those organizations fighting for conservative causes as well as to victims such as Ramos and Compean. I can’t send one dime to McCain in good conscience while those two men sit in prison for doing the job our govt refuses to.

“Donate a few dollars if you’re able.”

Absolutely not! Not for a man who stands for so much of what I am opposed to!

Obama will not win this election. God will not allow it to happen. We have already seen His hand at work by blocking Hillary’s all-but-a-given campaign. And we will see His hand again at work by causing Obama to lose.

Had there been ANY other Republican candidate, they would have lost in a landslide against Obama. But McCain is the only candidate who has a chance against Obama. God clearly is driving events here.

Having said that, I agree with very little that the man believes in, and I will not actively support him.
