CBS News’ chief political consultant Marc Ambinder reports that a group called the Judicial Confirmation Network will spend over $1 million on a TV and print advertising campaign in a smaller markets in the key swing states of Ohio, Michigan and Pennsylvania featuring some controversial figures Barack Obama has been associated with.

...That’s a big problem. the Wright association is the most damaging because of the videos. If Mccain doesn’t use Wright, I think he’s done.

Why would McCain need to get involved with this? This stuff is made for 527s and the RNC.

McCain needs to focus on Presidential issues. Included in that is, I HOPE!!, showing how Obama and his close friends/advisors (Raines, Johnson) and Dem colleagues caused this financial Fannie Mae mess.

I think, rather, that he/we need to push the videos and proof that it was the demRats that protected Fannie and Freddie - and ACORN - for years...against the hearings by the Pubs in 2005, the warning by Pres. Bush in 2003 and the bill McC sponsored in 2005 to bring them under control.

the proof, in videos and records, is available. How about WE the PEOPLE get busy and do OUR part? Instead of being Nattering Nabobs, do what we all did these last 2 weeks and burn up the phone lines and emails with a 2-prong approach: demand the media cover this and show the damning video clips and the bill McC sponsored along with his words of warning in 2005. (O'Reilly gave a good start with his attack on Bwarny Fwank - which is getting a lot of play) - Let's pick up that ball and run with it.

We saw how the pols sat up and took notice of all the calls and emails on the 'rescue' bill = this is what gov't "OF - FOR - and BY the People" is about.

WE need to do our part instead of just "What is HE going to do?
