Let say there’s a tie in the electoral college (269-269) and Obama gets the Prez, but the senate (via tie breaker) taps SARAH for the Veep.

The Senate isn't tied. And besides, the Senate casting the vote would be the one sworn in a few weeks before inauguration day. If polls hold true there will be more Democrats in it then than there are now.

The Senate has nothing to do with the election.

Since the electors are not bound to any cnadidate persumeably they could vote for anyone eligible, including HIllary.
