Haven’t heard anything since his run. Maybe you know this, but. . .

As I was saying we can’t just give up here with Palin/McCain.

I remember it well as I was living in Jersey City at the time. I recall thinking "this guy doesn't stand a chance in this town."

How VERY wrong I was.

If I remember correctly, mayoral candidates do not identify their party affiliation in J.C. and in that particularly year there were maybe 14 (!) people running for mayor. Those two elements worked in Bret's favor. Sadly, he has been unable to make it to statewide office. New Jersey's loss.
