Maybe the DNC will issue checks so they won’t riot, or the media won’t cover any riots. Gotta keep “The Chosen One” squeeky clean, can’t have him associated with window smashin’ looters.
“Taking it in the end zone” will soon have a new meaning to OJ.
Thanks. I guess I really misremembered, as Dubya would say.
USA, USA! — Once a STAR, now in STRIPES.
Tonight I’m thinking most of all of Fred Goldman. God bless him. May he find greater peace.
The legal expert on CNN said that the kidnapping charge is a mandatory minimum 15 years that has to be served alone and that even if the Judge is lenient on the rest of the charges, that she will still have to add at least a year for each one.
This appears to put him down for the count.
From article :
” Kidnapping is punishable by five years to life in prison. Armed robbery carries a mandatory sentence of at least two years behind bars, and could bring as much as 30.”
Minimum of 7 years .
completly different power structure in "Sin City" than in the "City of Angels".
I doubt there would EVER be Rodney King riots in vegas.
I hope he gets the maximum (life) sentence. "if the heisman trophy don't fit, you must aquit", I'm sure the heisamn trophy he was after will fit just fine "up there"
“During those 13 years, OJ lived the life of a rich man, slept with beautiful women, played golf, lived in a mansion. “
It may be harder on him to receive a life sentence now, for this, than it would have been while fresh off the passion of a double murder.
His ego may be in a very confused state right now, because he has been brought back down to earth on something that he must have seen as somewhat trivial. The glory is long gone and yet NOW he is going away for ever, on more pedestrian crimes involving sports stuff that he must have felt was his own no matter who was in possession of it.
Even Folks on Kos are happy he got convicted. This actually could get interesting.
Someone posted tonight that it was ironic he got away with murder, but will probably go to prison for life for retrieving some football cards.
He can ponder that one for a few decades.
LOL!!
Can I steal that for a tagline?
YES !!!
:)
I would think that depends on if the blacks riot or not.
And who the hell cares? It's way past the time when we need to stand up to these racist accusations. They have became tired, worn-out and lame excuses for irresponsible or just plain bad behavior.
When whites (Caucasians) commit crimes, they don't invoke the race factor. They are guilty, period.
We really must stop kowtowing to all the political correctness being foisted on us. If we don't, we are encouraging it.
For those who didn't see it, Laura Ingraham guested on The Factor 10/3/08. Taking her words out of context in a reply to O'Reilly regarding Barney Frank, she said she sent him a fruit basket. I laughed out loud, along with my husband.
Laura's not buying into the politcal correctness crap!
You have my permission. :-)
Actually, he'll find that prison life isn't all that different from his days as a running back in the NFL.
You know, back in the good old days when he had big black men opening holes for him.
Ouch! Don't throw tomatoes at me! I'm just repeating someone else's joke.
