A report of one that was caught.
A reader emails about another error in the transcript (CNN and NYT) of last night's debate:
From the transcript:
And I may not answer the questions that either the moderator or you want to hear, but I'm going to talk straight to the American people and let them know my track record also.
Real words:
"And I may not answer the questions THE WAY that either the moderator or you want to hear, but I'm..."
Me: Those two words are meaningful.

Either way is fine with me. I would rather hear talk about what she thinks is important, than what the MSM thinks is important.
I Also heard on Howie Carr about the home depot comment by biden,
When Biden was talking about home depot, the word “or” was inserted instead of “go”
I will try to find it....

Transcript Errors? [Michael Ledeen]
A reader emails about another error in the transcript (CNN and NYT) of last night's debate:
From the transcript:
Real words:And I may not answer the questions that either the moderator or you want to hear, but I'm going to talk straight to the American people and let them know my track record also.
"And I may not answer the questions THE WAY that either the moderator or you want to hear, but I'm..."
Me: Those two words are meaningful.
The point is that the liberals change the wording to make her look arrogant and dismissive of the moderator and the way it is set up.
Colmes made a big deal about it tonite, saying that she was stating she would not answer the questions asked. She said nothing like that, but Colmes and others are pushing the lie to make her look bad.
I would rather hear talk about what she thinks is important, than what the MSM thinks is important.
Me too, and that is what she said she was going to do. But in a venue like that the participants need to acknowledge the question, then segue into more important issues or points.
They (NYT) made up entire “””news””” Stories... What’s a Coupla Words?? /SARC

Considering the moderator is in the tank for Obama and has written a book about the Messiah, and will greatly profit from his election, and works for NPR, tells me that Sarah should be arrogant and dismissive of Gwen.
I should have been more specific, but I got the point.
(must remember to use \sarc tag) LOL
I’d have to check the tapes, but I was pretty sure I heard her say “Obama and Obiden” at one point. Made me chortle!
It’s a scumbag Democrat thing. It’s called “revisionist history”.
Someday, the Sinkmeister will never have been impeached.
I don’t read pop ups, thanks anyway
It was a good excuse to expound upon what the liberals do with a little switching of a couple words.
Colmes of course spends his life getting things wrong and going with them as gospel truth until they smother him.
IN a political debate, the trick is ALWAYS to answer the question YOU want to answer and stay on point.
Biden went from the banking slide to high price of gasoline in the same answer. The Democrat moderator never asked “what does that have to do with the question I asked?”
Her and ol’ Joe The Gross chuckled a little about it.
I thought it sounded cool
It would be helpful if your post actually explained what the heck you are talking about.
What are you talking about, just for my information ?
I want some information before I click on a link, and “Those two words are meaningful” means nothing to me.

Looks like Kathleen Parker uses the nySlimes version in her latest column about Gov Palin.
