Mark Warner is supporting the bailout of Wall Street. But what is really going on is an effort to use fear to persuade working families who are already struggling to cover the bets of Wall Street high rollers -- who have made themselves tremendously wealthy by exploiting flaws in our financial system.
Hi, sorry I posted this without putting VA-Senate in the title
Is there any problem they wont throw stacks of our money at? What reforms are in this bill to keep the Jamie Gorelicks and Franklin Raines of the future from raiding and plundering the citizens? NO ONE is going to jail for this? Start with Dodd, Obama (D-ACORN), Schumer, and many more who were the foxes guarding the henhouse. Is there any hope for our country?
I believe in the rule of unintended consequences. Congress can run but they can’t hide.
Too bad Juan McAmnesty and the idiot in the White House weren't opposed also.
I was researching and found this article about an hour ago:
http://www.voanews.com/english/Africa/2008-10-02-voa3.cfm
It has comments about the banking freeze in the paragragh that starts “In the August 6th coup’de’....etc” toward the end.
Now the reason I bring this up is that the AU (African Union) was the OAU (Organization of Africa United); WHY IS THAT IMPORTANT? Because the UN wrote a letter in March, 1976 to OAU, in which they responded:
“OAU would throw their support to the PALESTINE LIBERATION ORGANIZATION AND THE LEAGUE OF ARAB STATES”...I’ll post copy of letter later in this thread. This African Union supports Palestinians, and it is not known by very many. I discovered it in my research tonight.
This lends new light to what is going on with the banks, and could Obama have known about that problem in Africa while this was going on? Maybe not.
You know Mark Warner got his start in Chris Dodds office.
He had the inside track on the government give away of cell phone spectrum and made 200 million off it before that he’d never ran a successful business.

AS addition to my former post as promised here is link tying Palestine Liberation Org & League of Arab States to....the African Union (formerly OAU).
Here is the link to the UN letter to OAU, and their reply below letter....it is enlightening.
In 2002, the OAU (ORGANIZATION OF AFRICA UNITED), changed it’s name to AU African Union, also known as UA.
Now with the other article that I gave the link, it shows the WORLD LENDING FREEZE began in Africa due to a Coup de ta that happened on Aug 6th.
Please read my other two posts on this thread, as my research tonight has found the source of the banking freeze that started in Africa with the Coup de’tat of Mauritania.
REad both links, and you will find the ties to Palestine Liberation Org and The League of Arabs through African Union, that was formerly OAU...this bares watching!
Thanks for posting, linking and for the ping. Interesting.
Here are articles from Washington Post on Coup, since Aug 6th Coup in Mauritania from an email I sent to some particulars:
Why, you ask would one leader in Mauritania bring about such financial chaos? The African Union (formerly the OAU) is made up of the whole African Continent...what affects one affects all, and therefore affects the World. Of course if we had banks that were NOT already on the brink of collapse, this might have gone unnoticed. We were at a pivotal point, with all the huge debt including the housing MBSs, CDSs, and the unbelievable lax oversight, which made this the last straw evidently. The EU was in no better shape, and this was the coup de’ tat of financial fear within the World Lending system. I doubt the lending will resume until this crisis has resovled itself one way or the other in Africa. I’m not a banker, and I only found this information last night after the Bailout Rescue Plan had already passed. The connection never got enough media attention, and the coup, barely mentioned, with all the election coverage. If our MEDIA had been reporting this instead of demonizing Sarah, and fawning over Obama we might have made different decisions.
Below are all the articles I could find in Washington Post, and the article blaming the World Lending freeze on this Coup by Peter Clottey. Read and decide for yourself.
It appears that General Azis and 3 other generals were fired by Abdallahi, who was supposedly a newly elected democratic President. However, Abdallahi was accused by lawmakers and these four generals of corruption and reaching out to ISLAMIST RADICALS...so the ‘HOLDING’ of Abdallahi has contributed to the African Union dilemma regarding their Charter, inducing fear and lending freezes per Peter Clottey of Washington Post in his article “Maurita Military Junta Flouted African Union Charter says Expert”..
Banking Freeze mentioned in second from last paragraph:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/09/20/AR2008092001323.html
(one paragraph about 12 Mauritanian soldiers killed and Al Queda)

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/08/06/AR2008080600748.html
THE FOLLOWING LINK goes to Washington Post “Related Items on the Web”, and there are several links to articles on the Coup in Mauritania under that label.
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/08/06/AR2008080600748_Inform.html
The following quote was under a pic of supporters with the General’s pic on their car:
“Supporters of coup-leader and former presidential guard chief Mohamed Ould Abdelaziz, seen in posters, drive by in the city of Nouakchott, Mauritania, Friday, Aug. 8, 2008. Envoys from the African Union and the Arab League are due in Mauritania to meet with coup leaders who staged a putsch three days earlier that has been met with worldwide condemnation. Now my question is this-—wouldn’t this make the BANKING CRISIS more of a National Security issue, although it is an economic issue as well? Since Islamic Radicals and Abdallahi’s firing of the Generals created this mess. Would the system have shut down at this particular time prior to the election, if this had not happened?
