Interesting: Barney Frank is physically a walrus, in character a pig, and in the cesspool that is our congress, a small, though slimy, fish. While Dems remain in charge, he’s untouchable. If we ever regain power, he’ll swim for a bottom where he can hide, and surface for air as infrequently as possible. But we should be forgiving: aside from doing more than anyone else to derail our economy, he only stole money....
The republicans were in charge and did nothing. I remember Tom Delay all giddy ‘cause they controlled congress and the presidency. He was told to tone it down. He did.
Although 300 million Americans may think he is a total scumbag he is sent to Congress by about 450,000 voters in his district, half of whom don’t even bother to vote. Frank was reelected in 2004 with a little more than 218,000 votes.
