My Representative was one of the few who stood his ground and did not vote for the bailout. Thank you, Devin Nunes! He voted "no" on principle and I applaud him for that.

C’mon folks. Surely both McCain and Bush know that in the end this bill will be shot down by the high court as unconstitutional.

So much for McCain and the Republican party.
Sorry guys, I can't support this. In one or two weeks (maybe less), they will be asking for more. This won't make the banks lend any more than paying the danegold got rid of the Viking raiders. All it will do will make them ask for more next time.
And there will be at least one more major bail out before November.

Bush's Nixonian moment. A severe failure in domestic politics.

Congrats W. Everybody hates you now. We were just kinda ticked about the failed amnesty bid but it’s personal now. And I voted for your dumb ass.

As of right now, I’m voting against anybody I can who is currently in power. I don’t care if it means voting DemonRat. That goes for anybody, even if they voted against the bill. As far as I’m concerned, they weren’t trying hard enough to talk their colleagues out of voting for this travesty.
Suck it Congress, and I hope Bush gets hit by a meteor on his next day at the golf course. P.S. Get bent.

I feel so bad for Bush... He has tried so desperately to be a “moderate/centrist” president, that NO ONE likes him. Goes to show that you cannot please everyone...& when you try... you piss off everyone. I bet he can’t wait until Jan.
To: rabscuttle385
Didn’t more Democrats than Republicans vote for the bailout? Surely this can be used against them.
