Is that a good plan?

NO. But its going to pass.
Then he can bludgeon them for previous mistakes.

Excuse me? McCain voted FOR the bill. He CANNOT criticize the bill now without more blowback on him than on the ones he’s yelling at!

“And then he will unleash the dogs of war.’

From what I have seen so far, they will be more like cute little puppies.

Hope for a relentlessly liberal candidate to suddenly morph into a conservative isn’t going to save this country.

Neither is electing obama.

Too late now. He effectively ended his campaign in voting for the bailout.

Um, are we talking about the same John McCain who — along with Dodd and Obama — accepted massive “campaign contributions” (known on Main Street as “bribes”) from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and then went into the tank to vote for the biggest criminal cover-up in US history? If Chris Dodd and Barney Frank don’t ending up in orange suits for their taking pay-offs from the FMs and defrauding the American people, they ought to free Bernie Eppers and resurrect Ken Lay.

You can't "unhang" the dead. As in, once this bill is signed by the dweeb in the WH what difference does it make what McCain says?

He voted for it.

I can hear it now, "I was for it before I was against it". Sound familiar.

This is just above moronic.

Too little, too late. He had the opportunity during the first debate when the public was fixated on it. Instead, McCain spoke about earmarks. Go figure.

I have to stand in total agreement with you....no person in their right mind would pass this drivel unless they knew something...now, i know the bush family is a one world government family, but george has not actually endagered the country yet, although he does lean a little left..so there is something we are not being told

He is not going to criticize the bill he is going to blame the democrat for the mess we are in. The bill must pass or else we will have a major economi collapse which means that Obama will be elected President.

I agree. He has not unleashed because of the pending vote in the House.

Obama peaked too early. Awwwww

The Palin power is back stronger than ever, and we will win in November.

Yes. I am thinking that too. He needs to put Romney on the stump in the red states.

We have to hope that McCain, through his experience of various campaigns, has a plan. He wanted the VP debate and The Bailout to be taken care.

This now gives him one month to finally fight with Obama and expose him. 2 Debates are left.

He did. But the way I read that article is not that he’s going to attack the bill. But he’s going to attack Obama and the Dems for causing this whole mess that led to the bill. I think he plans on holding the line that the bill was necessary and vital, but attacking the cause of this.

I was actually thinking about this last night after the debate. I was disappointed in Palin’s handling of the regulation question and Biden’s remarks. And disappinted she didn’t bring up Fannie/Freddie and the shenanigans of the Dems. But then I thought maybe they’re saving that for McCain to bring up in the debate next week. That it’ll be more effective to bring up to Obama himself considering his role.

One can hope anyway.
