He said he would involve former Vice President Al Gore in efforts to address the issue. "I would tap him, I would tap people who have been involved in these issues for many years." McCain noted that he disagreed with the Nobel Peace Prize winner about nuclear energy but added, "I have great respect for Al Gore."

McCain is a complete and utter joke. This is the last time we should let the media decide our nominee for us.

I’m thinking it’s part of the game. He’s trying to win the independents so that he actually has a shot at this.

I have great respect for Al Gore.

Just one more reason why I have less and less for you, John.

I like what John said Monday on Fox & Friends about why congress needs to pass the bailout bill against the voters wishes.

He said that voters don’t understand the issues as they are too complex. But we understand the issues and know what is the right course.

If McCain keeps moving to the left he will lose the base, Sarah or no Sarah.

I lost respect for him when he voted for the bailout.

The base that is so excited about Governor Palin is slowly being forced to remember who else is on the ticket, and I'm sure that getdrunkandvote4mccain.com is getting a lot more hits.

If McCain were to pretend to himself that Zero was a conservative Republican, he might actually start trying to win this election.

If it were a race between Al Gore, John Kerry, and Barack Obama, Obama would be my 3rd choice.

No question that no matter what happens a liberal is in office and conservatives lose. The question is a moderate liberal or a nutjob off the reservation socialist. So we are forced to go the route of the lesser of two evils.

That seems to be the only answer. Could his years of being tortured made such a mark on him that he feels he needs to be submissive to his real enemies?

First of all, this story does not have the correct title of the article.

Secondly, all of the McCain haters just seem to have just glossed over this part:

“McCain said the financial crisis would not alter his campaign promises to keep taxes low or to balance the federal budget by 2013.

“We can balance it by 2013 if we get our economy going again and don’t take measures which will harm our economy,” he said. “It depends on whether we have the will to do so or not and restraint of spending is a huge aspect of this.”

The Arizona senator, who often talks about the importance of a strong dollar, said he would do what he could to bolster the U.S. currency but declined to speculate about intervention.

“The first step that has to be taken is obviously we have to stop mortgaging our economy to China ... and asking them to finance our debt,” he said.”

I’m starting to wonder if McCain is entirely stable.

His handlers should start grinding up Aricept pills, and slip them into his metamucil.
