Max, I read somewhere today that they did find and identify his sweatshirt and a couple of other articles of clothing.

I don't know if he had a change of clothing along with him or if there were any blood stains of sorts on the shirt.

The investigators can tell from the wreckage if the plane was occupied or not at the time if impact.

The critters don’t usually eat the instrument panel.

Wasn’t there a sweatshirt found with human and animal hair? Found near the id’s and money. I remember reading that this morning somewhere.

My family usually hiked more north in Tuolumne, but we would see those mountains to the south. Trying to remember the names of those 2 mountains nearby... was it Banner Peak and Mt. Lyell?

Yes, you're right. I took that photo last summer (a month before Fossett disapeared) from a jeep trail out of the Mammoth Ski area.
