Listening today... McCain needs to be very careful defending Palin all the time.
This is their current marching orders from Obama: continually question and attack Palin to get McCain to lose his temper.

Politico article?
If it’s true, then McCain may as well step aside altogether now. Although if that were to happen..heheheh... it could mean a Palin landslide. ;-)

What was the analogy? If you look at the debate tonight as a basketball game, it's not that the referee (Ifill) is a fan of one of the "teams" - that always happens. It's that she's betting on the outcome of the game. So the question becomes, how much money does Gwen Ifill have riding on Joe Biden tonight? Sean said it would be a lot; I said, if you have six figures riding on the debate it's really hard *not* to try to slant it your way.

He said Ifill isn’t like a referee who is a fan of one of the teams playing; she is a referee who has bet $$$ on the outcome of the game.

ABC Radio news just ran with that story. It’s puzzling that McCain would let that be known.

Its puzzling that McCain would let that be known. This "Maverick" attitude is going to bite him in the ass, big time.
Go Sarah!

Unfortunately, it’s not just his ass on the line. I hate this impending feeling of doom combined with the complete and utter helplessness I feel with respect to this election. I wish I could just lapse into a coma until 2012.

Further to the latest Sky Is Falling memo (McCain Closing Michigan Campaign)
“A senior adviser to Sen. John McCain confirms to CNN that the campaign is “shifting resources” from Michigan to Ohio and Pennsylvania, and “opening up an offensive front” in Maine.

Now will somebody around this place PLEASE knock off all the negative BS? At least until you get some da** facts?

Sean talking about taxes...If I were Palin I would say...for every tax increase you propose, do you also propose a pay cut for you and Obama to lessen the burden on the tax payers?
