My thought for the day is that they are embracing the allure of marxism

They are not embracing Marxism they just want the Government to pay mortgages for less fortunate. They might get free healthcare out of it as well.

That is marxism. Free everything run by the government. They like the idea. The Bolshevicks are upon us and in the majority. The politicians know it.
