“I’ve got a pretty long track record covering politics and news, so I’m not particularly worried that one-day blog chatter is going to destroy my reputation,” Ifill told the Associated Press. “The proof is in the pudding. They can watch the debate tomorrow night and make their own decisions about whether or not I’ve done my job.” Ifill

WRONG ANSWER, GWEN.

Arrogance.

She already didn’t do her job by failing to inform the debate committee about her conflict of interest: cashing in big time on an Obama win.

It's that long track record that's the problem.

I well remember when she moderated a town hall with Bush Sr and Bill Clinton. When Bush attempted to ask a reasonable question about how character is important for the office, Ifill cut him off rudely saying that personal attacks were not permittted and only issues would be discussed. It was obvious that she was following the Dem talking points to minimize Clinton's glaring vulnerability.
