This board is full of "fickle" supporters. I concede McCain is not Ronald Reagan. He would probably be better off if some of you DID abandon the fight. The first time things don't go according to the plan, you bail. Wars are not won according to the initial Op Order.... the dynamics of the battlefield often call for changes in tactics..Improvise..Overcome and Adapt. If you act like a robot and follow the initial plan and ignore the changes that are in front of you...you die. Your nothing more than a robot. It's obvious from his comments that he doesn't like this bill, but he's trying to win the war and in war you sometimes have to do things that are less than desirable. This is not the "John Wayne" version of war...this is the real deal. This is a situation where you have to "Live to fight another day"......don't loose sight of the real enemy that will take us to socialism quicker than a trillion dollar bail out (that we actually might get some money back). <\Rant Off>
