The wife couldn't see the literary and allegorical point to why Macy's character would have a break from his upper Midwest roots to commit such an act. As for me?? -- Hey, I'm a guy, nothing bothers me...:-)

She found it hard to believe she liked O, Brother after I told her the Coen brothers did that one, too. Haven't decided if her liking it was about the great music or Clooney...
