Events over the last couple of days have conspired to scare the livin’ daylights out of me.
First, there was that creepy YouTube video of children singing to the Obamessiah. That little display could have been lifted directly from North Korean TV.
Then, this morning, I saw a car with an Obama bumper sticker that read:
OBAMA.
ONE NATION.
ONE PEOPLE.
That raised the little hairs at the back of my head. You might as well spell it out in the original German: “Ein Volk. Ein Reich. Ein Fuhrer.”
Folks, we have been here before: a charismatic “Leader”, with a following of millions of zealots, each of whom will commit any act to gain the (perceived) approval of this “Leader”.
I always expected that the madness of Fascism and Fuhrer-worship would re-occur in Europe, not in America.
God help us all.
Ok. Here’s what I’ve been doing and it’s actually alot of fun. Go to every blog you can, sign up, and then pretend you are a liberal Obama follower. Be careful not to overdo it and expose your inner freeper. Make posts about how excited you are that O is winning and will be our next President because he will fix everything. Make sure you sound a little stupid.This subliminal tact could get those leaners to worry about Obama.
