"I've officially been saved, and soon, whether they like it or not, the rest of the country will be too." The comments on the article are dubious as to whether this is satire. Sad that there is a question about that, isn't it?

(no offense to Depeche Mode or any of the others who covered this like Johnny Cash or Marilyn Manson.)

It just has to be satire. I hope for the sake of my Country that this is satire. It's satire. Gotta be.
Right?

It’s Smith College, so maybe it’s Satires Satire.
In either case, the whole town of Northampton will be praising their vote.

Sad too is that I have read many threads on many MSM sites by “posters” who write stuff like that. When articles are posted here (and I lurk at the opposition sites) I look at the comments and I am left speechless by some of them.

SIX SIXTY SIX
In the midst of the war he offered us peace,
He came like a lover from out of the east
With the face of an angel and the heart of a beast,
His intentions were six sixty six.
He walked up to the temple with gold in his hand,
And he bought off the priests and propositioned the land,
And the world was his harlot and lay in the sand,
While the band played six sixty six.
We served at his table and slept on the floor,
But he starved us and beat us and nailed us to the door.
Well, I'm ready to die, I can't take any more,
And I'm sick of his lies and his tricks.
He told us he loved us, that was a lie,
There was blood in his pockets and death in his eyes.
Well my number is up, and I'm ready to die,
If the band will play six
If the band will play six sixty
If the band will play six sixty six.

After reading the first page from the article, sadly I don’t think it’s satire. I hope I’m wrong.

I think it’s satire. At Smith College (should the ‘o’ in the student newspaper name be replaced with ‘ap’? just asking!) tweaking the Obamaites for similarities to the disfavored protestant evangelicals might be the only way to effectively attack Obama and get it published.

When people refuse to believe in God, they will believe in anything.

I am going to vomit.
This may be satire but there are to many who feel this very way.
I always knew that people would be fooled by the Antichrist (no I am not saying Barry is the Antichrist), yet at the same time I did not believe people could be that stupid and naive.
But here we have a an example that people really are that stupid and naive.
