The effects the new system will have on minority radio stations and their ability to charge for advertising is dramatic. The needs of advertisers to have confidence that they're paying for exposure to ears that are actually listening is critically important for Arbitron's credibility.
IMHO, the veil of legacy Leftist fraud is being lifted by this action, but such fraud would continue if politicians like Durbin and Obama are successful.
That these Illinois senators dare show their chutzpah so close to the election bodes ill for all who fear the Left's inclinations to cleanse conservativism from radio. Let such actions convince voters to wash these frauds and those who support their candidacy (read: all Democrats) from public office.
Politicians have no business intimidating businesses this way. This is similar to the way Obama and others used legal mechanisms against the mortgage industry, skewing the flow of finances and ultimately threatening the livelihood and longevity of a thriving free market sector.
These Leftists must be stopped at all cost.

You mean Arbitron isn’t counting all those viewers who are illegally tapping into the cable??? What’s up with that?
Let them be counted as soon as they register their names with the police.

I think their real fear is that Limbaugh’s audience will be found to have been undercounted.
Durbin is running for re-election, this year. I’ll probably vote for his only conservative opponent, Chad Koppie. He’s the only candidate, in that race, who is pro-life, pro-gun, and anti-illegal alien. Please read his site, www.koppieforsenate.com.
