Any bets she is forced to bow out? Anybody want to help that happen with some phone calls?
To: mabelkitty
I took the number down on the other post. Is it too late to call now?
To: mabelkitty
Sarah Palin should begin the debate by congratulating Gwen Ifill on her new book.

I heard Palin say that she has a degree in Journalism and she's not used to the ethics of journalists these days. I think it was from the Hugh Hewitt interview.
To: mabelkitty
Are you talking about Ifill or Mrs. Palin, being forced out?
If Ifill, I would dial till my fingers fell off, if I thought that it would do any good.
To: lonevoice
Mailbox full, sent email to commission on debates and to Ms. Ifill at PBS. Both links are on Michelle Malkin’s site/blog.

“I heard of your book and how you so adore Obama,...so I guess now the debate odds are about even with you two.”
*looks over at Biden and smiles*

Or maybe if the whole “trooper-gate” bull is brought up, Palin can look at Ifill and say something like “I promise that, unlike SOME political personalities, I would never let my personal interests get in the way of how I perform my job.”

I think they could replace her with Jim Lehrer. Jim seems like a fair guy. Even Tom Brokaw would be ok.
but we better watch out. we could end up with Charles Gibson. LOL.
To: mabelkitty
Well, she already broke her ankle this week. Maybe if she falls again and breaks a leg, they’ll send Jim in her place.

Bwen has done other debates. I wonder why no one has posted a link to other past debates she’s moderated? I recall her being very fair, even respectful to ... was it Cheney?

They HAVE to send someone else, as they can’t game whether or not Sarah will mention Gwen’s book.
They can’t imagine a Republican would turn the tables like that, but they’re beginning to understand Sarah’d be happy to.
CheckMATE.
