"Forty-seven percent of the people who bought homes in the Hispanic community bought them with a subprime," Wilcox said. "They are going to lose their homes -- 47 percent."

The “path to citizenship” is the same one they sneaked in on. It just goes in the other direction!

Why is this partisan crap prograganda being posted here? Is it because Daily KOS copyrights their stuff?
To: rabscuttle385
Too bad for that 47 percent. Maybe they should return to Mexico and buy a house with a new subprime loan.

So basically, McCain is to lose support because he won’t offer bailouts for people who took out subprime loans?
That is crazy and slightly disgusting.

Well I’m scared now. We better make the bailout bill two trillion dollars to make sure everybody gets a free house.
Sheesh.

Thanks for putting a face on the demographic who's irresponsibility most likely caused this mess.
But they left out that most were undoubtedly illegal.

Oh, well. I bet McCain still carries Arizona, Ms. Wilcox.
To: rabscuttle385
doesn’t matter how they spin it; McCain is up 21 points over BO in AZ. I am thinking we will not see BO in AZ again.....

Group member Mary Rose Wilcox said McCain's strength among Latinos has dwindled. That's primarily because he de-emphasized his support for a path to citizenship for millions of illegal immigrants and now says border security is the first immigration priority.
He did that? I wish.

So why are they blaming McCain? They should be looking directly at their candidate and his democratic cronies.

Why is Bush for the bailout? Follow the illegal mortgage trail. Cheap labor, a continuous supply of derivative speculation, and housing bubble all in one package. Real-estate WELFARE.

Not this Hispanic. Although I’ll admit it’s because of Sarah. Then again, I would support him because I can’t stand socialist scum.
